We wanted main level living, so we looked at other properties – what was out there – we considered new builds, we looked at land. We recently had the upper floor of our town home remodeled. It was a pretty extensive remodel. The master bathroom, closet and laundry room were torn out down to the studs, and beyond. New walls were built in a completely redesigned floor plan. NVS was recommended to us by a family member who used them for a kitchen and bath remodel. We were told that we would be very happy with them. I can honestly say that was an understatement. From initial sales to the end result, NVS was professional, on time and on budget. We had an unusually difficult design target – maximize usefulness of minimal and inefficient space. We worked with the designer through several revisions to make the best use of the space. The designer had to find some unique solutions for our space. The lead carpenter was outstanding, even with real time changes to the design. The construction zone was isolated and cleaned up every day. The subcontractors were scheduled and managed well. NVS was not the cheapest (not the most expensive either) of the companies we contacted, but they were well worth it. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to friends and family.

On two different occasions, NVS Remodeling & Design has provided remodeling services at two houses that I have owned. At both houses they did extensive work on remodeling our kitchens and finishing two full basements. Not only did I find their craftsmanship to be exceptional, but they also were instrumental in providing excellent design advice on various options that were complimentary to our desired budgets for the projects. Without exception, every person who has seen the work has commented on the great design work and also the high quality of the work as well. NVS remodeled our kitchen and did a fantastic job! They were clean and respectful. They left a calendar to let us know what would be completed each day and they finished on time! Everyone answered every question and concern quickly and fully. The designers worked with us to make the most of our space. We now have a top quality and functional kitchen! We gained so much space! We had a water leak during the process and NVS came right away and fixed everything quickly. NVS is amazing, we would use them again and recommend them without reservation.

Our kitchen renovation project with NVS went very well. We are truly thrilled with our new kitchen. It was pretty much a complete gut and remodel project. We worked with their designer up front to develop the concept and define all the details. She was very helpful and responsive to our input, and really made what felt like overwhelming project seem approachable. The cost estimate was clear and fair. In fact, the completed project came in on budget without any unexpected escalations. Their carpenter, who did much of the work, was diligent and always asked us for input where there were choices to be made, which we appreciated. The countertop folks did a fantastic job – the counters came in perfectly with no issues whatsoever. The porcelain floor and glass backsplash tiling turned out very well. Although there were a few hiccups here and there (what project doesn’t have these), the project manager was very professional, and always stepped in for a quick resolution. The whole project came in pretty much on schedule – just under six weeks, which we were very happy with. We would definitely recommend NVS.
